Last week I went shopping at Sweethearts Boutiques and found some simply gorgeous stuff. I’ll admit – I couldn’t help going back! (Seriously – once you’ve been there you’ll hear the siren call to shop there again!)
As we all know, this is February. Spring is (thankfully) just around the corner for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. One wonderful thing about February, besides the fact that it’s short, is Valentine’s Day. I’ve been wanting to surprise my man with an evening out, and what better time to do it? Just off the eastern wing of the boutiques is an elegant place to dine: The Terrace Lounge and Grille. Just take a look at what the talented chef has planned for all the lovebirds this year: I’m really hoping to snag a table overlooking the water. I wonder if it would help if I slip the maître d’ an extra few lindens?
Isn’t this just a gorgeous spot? And not just for Valentine’s Day, either. In fact, it would be the perfect place to bring a few friends just to have a really nice dinner and coffee, then go dance at Sweethearts Jazz. Because yes, groups of friends dancing together is fun!
I absolutely love this dress from -A Z U L-! I bought it in Peridot, which is my real life birthstone, and it also happens to look great on me. I will be the belle of the ball when I go dancing with the man.
Okay, make that the queen of the ball, because this outfit comes with a crown! The necklace from Lazuri has other pieces with it: a larger necklace and a choker. I opted for just the smaller necklace this time, and colored the pearls to coordinate with my dress. Another way to modify this? You can wear it with the one drop pearl like I have here, no drops, or with three!
You can’t tell I feel simply amazing in this dress, can you?
Then, across the wide expanse of brick and beautiful shops to the south is a lovely atrium with guards standing solemnly at either side. The word that comes immediately to mind is regal – and regal it is: Regal Model Agency, signing some of the best models in SecondLife. They also offer classes at Regal Modeling Academy for a very fair going rate – more than fair, when you consider the things you learn. You don’t even have to be dreaming of a pageant crown or virtual days spent having your photo taken. If you would like to gain poise, learn some fashion points, and just discover what the world of SecondLife modeling is about, this is the place.
Believe me, if they can put up with me and manage to get me out of Garanimals, they can teach anyone.
Of course, when I got back out to the parking lot, I realized I’d forgotten my keys…
I hadn’t forgotten part of my dress, however- the long skirt is detachable so you can wear this classic sheath to dressy-but-not-quite-formal venues. And see what I did with the necklace?
