I love an evening out! I know I’m not the only one, judging from the plethora of nightclubs, cabaret venues, and jazz clubs across the grid. One of the magical things about SecondLife is being able to go to a speakeasy in the 1920s one night then to a sock hop on Friday, and spend Sunday evening in the arms of your partner dancing away the hours to a live musician.
Of course, to do all of this, you must have the wardrobe!
The 10th Annual Clothing Fair has a lot of bits to choose from for both men and women. One of my favorites is a Fashion For Life event Exclusive from Pink Ice Boutique, created by the lovely Hayley Dixon.
I adore the sparkles – the purple sequined trim just above the bosom (yes, I use that word), and the glitter of a hundred stars sprinkled throughout the skirt.
Can’t you see yourself tripping the light fantastic in this gown? (And yes, I used that phrase, too!) There’s just something about the flow and swish of a long dress when I dance that makes me feel just beautiful. Hecks, I would even look gorgeous standing off by myself! Not that this would happen very often…
Then there are the nights in. *wicked smile* You know what I’m talking about…. Ones that require just as much forethought in attire, but… Well, minus the gorgeous gown!
Wouldn’t your significant other be smiling to see you stride in the bedroom door in this, and strike a rather nonchalant pose, all for his benefit? Do it even if he’s got the mechanical hula girl lamp on his dresser. You don’t have to hula. You just have to get the stockings straight.
Or you could hide the back seams with the included cape. It has gorgeous sparkles on it, too, which wink and move in flickering candlelight.
So sexy – this outfit lets you be as subtle or as out there as you feel like being. I felt an “oh HELL yeah!” attitude coming over me in this – I was ready to take on the world! Or at least the bedroom…
Again and again and again – come on over to the 10th Annual Clothing Fair benefitting Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society! It’s running through the 14th of March, and there is entertainment and all sorts of fun to be had. And for an amazing cause, too! Help make sure everyone has more nights to go out! More nights to stay in! More nights and more days and more weeks, months, and years!
