I don’t care for winter, I have to admit. I like sweaters. I like jackets and fuzzy scarves. But I just don’t like the cold. I’m really the same way inworld, too. Things that remind me of springtime are always welcome.
Maybe that’s why I changed my viewer lighting when I went to Cica Ghost’s newest artistic offering. It should be viewed in a darker, more sepia light – and please, go see it as it’s meant to be seen! But when I began taking photos, I just felt dreary. Instead of looking for another place to shoot, I played with the lighting a bit. Her installation is beautiful in whatever light you use!
You can’t see it in the photo, but there is a giant snail with an actual house on his back, moving around on the ridge up above me. I love the puppeteering she’s done.
Wearing this cute outfit from Sweet Tea gave me the feeling of early spring, when the sun is warming your skin but there is still a slight chill in the breeze. I’m bad, though – I left the poncho that comes with this dress at home! Yes, I paid for that oversight with some shivers and goosebumps… that’ll teach me, right? Still, the warm socks that make up the top part of the boot helped keep the cool ocean breeze at bay.
